happy valentine's day!

happy day! alex has her after school "classy" valentine's party today. she had her school party on friday. she gave out star wars valentines to her class and today she brought ranch doritos for her party. she's been sick again so she didn't do any sports this week. we did have a busy hockey weekend though. friday night was a kids giveaway of a ryan craig (he's the captain) starting lineup figure. since alex was sick we only stayed for the first period. saturday we relaxed, got homework and cleaning done, and watched some fraggle rock. sunday was another hockey game. we weren't going to go because alex sounded like she was getting worse again, but she really wanted to go so we filled her with cold meds and went. it was a castaway bay pass giveaway day, plus a post-game autograph session. we brought the game puck alex got to have signed by the captain, ryan craig. alex and i each had our jerseys signed by everyone and john had his hat signed. they were all very nice and we got about 20 autographs total. it was a fun thing to get to do.
