alex was finally back to taekwondo this week and the cough is finally getting better - yay. she has some catching up to do at tkd, and that's difficult with how much homework she gets every night, but we'll see. alex got her mapp (i think that's what they're called) test results this week and she got amazing scores. she is in the 97% nationwide for math and 93% nationwide for reading! she really improved her reading by about 30%! amazing. friday night, grace came over and the two of them had a playdate at our place. we ordered pizza and the two of them spent most of the night playing in the hiding space under alex's bed. saturday, we went to go see the lego batman movie. it was a lot of fun, and we had yummy popcorn. alex really wants to see the logan movie (advertised in the picture above); she's a big fan of the x-men franchise. we also finally got our hands on the nintendo nes classic mini - i've been looking for one since before christmas. so we set that up on saturday and had fun playing games. alex really enjoys it, but gets upset with the game when she can't get past a part. she really likes kirby's adventure and galaga. she finished her homework for the weekend and we enjoyed some tv and watched moana and got things done.
