somehow i didn't take a single picture on father's day, so here's one from this morning :) alex spent most of her weekend with grace. they rode bikes, went over to grace's new house, and set up alex's minecraft. she had it on her ipad, but there is a bigger version for the computer. so alex purchased that this week and those two spent most of the weekend setting it up and there's still a lot of setup to do. i had a lovely saturday of pedicures and lunch for jessica's wedding congrats. then john, alex and i started watching smallville (a young superman series.) john and i had seen most of the episodes over a decade ago, and we've been excited to see if alex would like the show...and she loves it, yay. sunday, we lavished john with presents :) some that alex made and some that we bought. i think he enjoyed them. later, we went over to bopey and norm's to enjoy some dinner. now we are in prep mode for vacation! soon :)
