alex's friend grace invited her to go to tea with her for grace's grandmother's birthday! it was the three of them along with one of grace's grandma's friends and her friend's daughter. alex put a lot of thought into what she was going to wear as well as her accessories and everything. she spent the entire day with grace and they really enjoyed tea. it was a 3 course meal including dessert and 3 kinds of tea. alex tried everything and told me in detail what all her favorites were. the day before tea or the day after (i can't remember) she had a field trip to amazone which sounds like a big indoor playground of sorts. she had a lot of fun there. this weekend we went back to school supplies shopping! it always feels nice to get that done. we ordered her backpack and she's already planning her first day of school outfit. we got a lot of other stuff done including working on alex's halloween costume and cleaning and cooking. although we did lose a lot of time on saturday because we didn't have any power for several hours. yesterday alex had her annual well visit. she's in good shape and didn't need any shots this time. she is in the 75% percent tile for height and her bmi and weight are in order. her blood pressure, hearing and sight are all in great shape. yesterday alex also had her first day of a 3 day lacrosse camp. it sounds like she had a lot of fun and is improving and met a new friend.
