alex finished up her 3 day lacrosse camp this week. she seemed to really enjoy it: she got a great t-shirt, practiced her skills, made some new friends, won a prize, got a bunch of starbursts, and finished up with a pizza party! john went up to canada for his guys' weekend so alex and i enjoyed a girls' weekend at home. i got a few things done on her halloween costume - pieces are coming along (there's a lot of pieces.) alex was great about checking the garden and watering it. we watched some smallville and i introduced her to Jaws. that was fun. she only jumped at one part, but it was 2 seconds after she said "this isn't scary." haha, she enjoyed the movie, so we are going to try thing of other older movies to watch like king king and such. sunday was beautiful out so we enjoyed the backyard and the pool a lot. we cooked corn on the cob and i made her sloppy joes! we filled up lonnie's pool and he had a great time. poor blizzy watched us from the door.
