it was a relatively normal week of school for alex. they are taking tests and prepping for winter break. she has been rather excited about her science project, so that's nice. she's been practicing the flute, so she must still like that. it has really started snowing here so alex will get to experience waiting at the bus stop in the snow, that's fun. alex did so much organizing and cleaning of her stuff this weekend! i was texting her to see if she wanted to go out on friday night and she was busy organizing her room! but she put that aside to go out for dinner with me :) sunday was our annual tradition of going to tea at the Ritz. alex was so excited all weekend - we love this tradition (thanks bopey.) they redid the restaurant at the Ritz and they barely finished in time for tea. we were back in the room with the windows - i like the windows, but we miss the couches. the food and desserts were delicious and the girls were so cute all dressed up and taking pictures and selfies together. tea at the ritz really makes it feel like the holiday season.
