alex finished the 2nd semester of school and received all As again. she's doing great. she had more standardized testing as well. winter lacrosse started this week. they had a lot of kids in attendance. alex immediately found her friends and had a great time. john and i were able to go out for a bite to eat. saturday morning, alex went with john to his school to volunteer with handing out food bank items to local people. alex was in charge of the cabbage. it sounds like she's interested in going back again. alex also finished up the food truck she was making for blizz out of a cardboard box. it's so cute. oh! alex's school split them up into teams to build a car and race them. i guess alex's team won their corridor and are down to competing against one other team to win the whole thing! she is so excited about it. also, we just got jack white tickets, which will be alex's first ever concert :)
