alex had school all week even though a lot of schools closed on friday for the ice and snow. she had a full week on resource room (the gifted program) and she seems to really like it so far. winter lacrosse was supposed to start last week, but they postponed that due to the weather. i did go to a parent meeting for lacrosse last week. so we had a full weekend of staying in and working on projects. i did some sewing and cooking. john did some cooking and playing video games and cleaning and such. alex built her lego bb-8, which is really cool. if you turn one of his sides his lighter arm comes out and if you turn a different side his head moves around. lego bb-8 was one of her christmas presents. another christmas present was a book of ideas to build cat caves and scratching posts and such from cardboard boxes. so she is building blizz a food truck. i did the cutting for her and she's painting it now and making the menu sign. blizz is already trying to climb inside and look out the windows.
