alex had her first game of the season last week. they lost by one point, but they played well and the new girls got some much needed experience. since that game they've had 2 games and a practice cancelled due to field conditions. it's been raining so much. they're supposed to have a game tonight and it's currently snowing so we'll see. i spent most of this weekend making selfie cookies as an open audition for the netflix show nailed it! haha, the odds of me getting on the show are so slim, but it was fun and alex enjoyed the cookies after i was done. she's also been watching some light horror movies and loving them. last weekend she watched the shining and this weekend we watched the lost boys. she really liked the lost boys - i don't think she got the suspense mind thriller of the shining as much. school is still going well, and she has standardized testing started this week for the next three weeks.
