swings 'n' things + lacrosse tournament + mother's day

we had a really busy weekend. saturday night was john's big fundraising event for his school at the cleveland museum of art. so while john and i were there - which was a lovely event that went really well - alex went to carter's birthday party with his friends at swings 'n' things. she had a great time and it sounds like the party was fun for everyone. sunday morning we had to be up and out the door super early for her lacrosse tournament. it was really cold and it rained most of the time. they lost their first game - it was raining throughout that entire game. then they won the next two games - rained throughout one of them and then got really warm for the last game! then we went over to bopey and norm's for a lovely mother's day dinner and desserts.
