first school dance

school work is ramping up a little bit, but not so much that she can't handle it. just makes for some later nights trying to get it all in including reading requirements. friday night, alex had her first school dance. she changed into a nice shirt, sequined jeans and even braided her hair in a bohemian style hairdo. it sounds like she had a good time requesting songs and hanging out with her friends. it was also one of her friend's last day of school here; she has moved to a new district. saturday was coding class; they started css. we enjoyed watching the chilling adventures of sabrina (she wants to find the original sabrina now, too.) and she did a decent amount of origami and homework this weekend as well.
