women in technology, halloweekends and cookie dough
friday, alex didn't have school so she came to work with me so she could interview a couple of women in technology. she got her interview questions all set and a voice recorder on her phone and her computer ready for extra notes. this was for her independent research project for school. the women she talked to are so nice and it was great that they took the time to talk to her. after that alex found out how boring my office really is - we're not always decorating and eating special treats and such. although she did get a nice, big breakfast from the cafeteria and we went out to lunch. saturday, alex had her coding class and john and i went to lunch. after that we got stuff done around the house (there's a lot more to do.) alex made edible cookie dough! she's been wanting to make more stuff and we had all the ingredients for that. i just tried it last night and it's delicious (good thing i didn't discover it earlier or it'd all be gone now it's so tasty.) sunday, the three of us went to halloweekends at cedar point. we got free fast passes for renewing our season. we got to ride steel vengeance twice, plus everything else we wanted. the decorations were fun and there was even a marching band.
