school of rock

alex had a pretty normal week of lacrosse practice, GEMS club, and coding class. she worked on finishing up her independent study fair project which she will show off today at the fair. she helped clean the house and she made delicious macarons. it was her first time making them (and they're not easy to make) and they were delicious. i think they are all gone already. we stayed up late on saturday in hopes of seeing the northern lights, but we couldn't see them. we did see lots of stars and constellations. sunday, alex and i saw school of rock. it was a great show and those kids are so impressive. we really enjoyed this one - and the songs will stay in your head for quite some time :)
