we just got back from our 2 week vacation! we spent a week and a half in Canada and then went to Mary and Eric's for a couple of days. we had beautiful weather the whole time (a tad windy on some days, but still lovely.) we have 2 kayaks now, thanks to Mary and Eric, and we brought up a stand-up paddle board. we used the kayaks and board every day except the one when we went to Canada's Wonderland. we had so much fun there: we rode their new coaster (which is slightly better than Valravn) and another one that we never got to before; plus we found the giant ice cream cookie sandwiches. we had fun going to Mary and Eric's: their dog is the best; we enjoyed their pool; great food; and alex and john really enjoyed the shooting range where they tried out several of Eric's guns. back to reality this week. alex started her first week of camp yesterday at St. Joseph Academy: this week is creativity + coding. sounds like she had a good time and she already knew someone :)
