dad and kids camping weekend

alex and john were away all weekend for the annual dads and kids camping trip. they haven't been able to go for a couple of years and it almost didn't work out for this year, but they made it. they went to a different site this year over by sandusky. they took a ferry out to the island (which was a rough ride on the way back at the end of the weekend.) they went putt-putting, cooked over a campfire, she got some pressed pennies, they fished and did crafts. alex got to hang out with Quinn and B which she hasn't gotten to do for some time. it sounds like they had a really fun weekend.
