food bank, coding, out with friends, and decorating for christmas

alex had GEMS this week. they got to go over to the high school and use the etching machines (at least i'm pretty sure that's the machines they were using.) she had fun doing that. she's been studying for lots of tests and making notecards and such like that. saturday morning was the food bank. alex wanted to 3d print, but there was quite a few hurdles and the software was missing from the computer so it didn't happen. we did help out with the food bank on miscellaneous food duty and grapefruit. then alex had coding. it sounds like she's enjoying working on coding her own game. later that night she met her friends at the mall and they ate and went to a movie. sunday, we went over to bopey and norm's to go thru fabric in their attic and help clean out some stuff. then home to study more and get out christmas. we're all decorated now and i need to get a move on with shopping and prepping everything else.
