alex started GEMS this week. this year it's an every other week club and the boys have the own club on alternating weeks. they made glow-in-the-dark zodiac constellation paintings. alex's looks really nice and it was a great first day of club activity. thursday was halloween. it was cold and rainy and super windy, but they still had fun. alex dressed up as Luna Lovegood from the Harry Potter books/movies. a couple of her friends came over to trick-or-treat together in our neighborhood and hang out after eating candy and donuts and playing video games. andrew was a lumberjack/brawny paper towel guy. and danica was the charlie brown ghost with all the extra holes in the sheet and all he gets are rocks. they had fun. then there was coding this weekend and working on some projects. today, alex doesn't have school (polling location) so she went with john to school where she is hoping to use the 3d printers and attend a coding class there.
