so, alex has never (so far) been much of a singer, she really prefers to dance, but lately she's been randomly singing. first, it was "where is thumbkin", then "the itsy bitsy spider", and finally the alphabet song - which alex refers to as her "a,b,c,d's". so here's a little clip of her attempting to sing the alphabet song - she's gotten almost all the way through the song, but of course getting her to do that when you're ready with the camera is nearly impossible - so here's a bit of what i was able to get (it's really not much and she doesn't seem to go in any real order in this version.)
also, alex is into getting her bumps and bruises kissed now. she will barely bump herself or hit her hand or something and she wants mommy to kiss it. then i'll ask her "are you going to be ok" and she always replies "yeeeeees." also, she apparantly has a new rule now that i have to do everything that alex does - if alex is wearing a coat then i have to wear a coat - if alex is wearing a hat then i have to wear a hat. and it works in reverse - if i put on my glasses then alex has to put on her glasses - we showed up to gymnastics class on saturday with alex wearing her sunglasses :)
