yesterday - mark the calendars - alex used the potty! she used it 4 times!!! we've had the potty out for quite some time now because i read that having it there well before they're ready gets them used to the idea. yesterday, alex figured out how to take off her diaper (awesome, now how do you keep it on?), so when she was stripping down i asked her if she needed to go potty and she said yes! meanwhile, i'm thinking, yeah right, you're just saying yes to every question i ask you. but she stripped down, sat down on the potty, and immediately started to pee! i was so excited, but still thinking ok this won't happen again for another 6 months. then later she started stripping down again and answered yes that she had to potty, so she went again, then again, and then a 4th time!! amazing! who knows if she'll keep this going, but hey - good for her :)
