one at a time

well, yesterdays theme seemed to be "one at a time." we got out some of the christmas decorations - so yes, the singing and dancing snowmen are back. she wanted to play them all at the same time (you can imagine how fun that sounded.) so we learned one at a time for the music. in addition, alex was cracker happy yesterday, all day long she wanted "cracker snacks" - and of course they needed to be in a bowl, but she thought it was funny to try to shove about 5 or more in her mouth at the same time, so we needed to learn one at a time for that too.

we found a coloring book at costco that we got for alex about a week ago. it also has more that 600 stickers!!! each page to color has a section at the top that labels the page and has a spot for a corresponding sticker. alex loves to pick out a sticker then find the page and put the sticker in the correct spot. she hasn't colored much in the book, she is really enjoying the sticker part more at this time. and she has started going back through and making sure the stickers are almost perfect in the square (i'm suprised the giraffe sticker in the picture is off - i'm sure we'll get back to that one at some point.) it's such a great learning book too, she knows almost all the animals and is learning about loads of other things from the pictures on the stickers. the only problem is that the book is really quite heavy.
