well, halloween was fun. alex went to only 2 houses, but she got the idea quickly that you dress up and you get candy. she would come running back to show me what she got and then ask daddy to go again for more candy. she was also very helpful with handing out the candy. as you can see from the second picture she's pulling candy out of the pumpking for us to give to "guys coming" to the house. although once they got close (no matter how old they were) she would hide behind me. i was going to post a video of alex saying "happy halloweeeeeen" but i can't get the camera to work (maybe later.)
also, alex has been taking very good care of her baby dolls. she shows them everything, she burps them, rocks them to sleep, and asks if they're ok. she even sings to her baby dolls. by far, her favorite toy is that weird water baby doll that i won in a care bear basket raffle (there's 2 of the dolls, but one is clearly more important than the other.) she even swaddles the babies in old shirts or even paper. i've even seen her set up the changing area with wet wipes and a diaper in order to tend to the baby.
