we really weren't too exciting this week. alex had gymnastics on wednesday - it went better this week, it wasn't so crazy crowded as it was last week and alex was being more independent and not clinging to me much. we also camped out again on saturday night - she loves it and the season for camping out is almost over, this morning alex told me it was time to go to the tent. alex helped john make cupcakes to take in to school - she got to add the sprinkles, and of course she got to eat a couple. it was sunny outside this weekend so alex played on her swingset alot - it felt like she wanted to swing for hours, but hey, who doesn't love to swing. oh and the big highlight was we got out the halloween decorations (i know it seems really early, but why not enjoy them). alex really seems to understand the idea behind halloween this year, she was gathering all the baskets she could get and saying she was going to "say trick or treat with aaaaallll these baskets" and in fact the only way we got her back inside the house was to ask her if she wanted to practice trick-or-treating (she got a pack of smarties in her basket - she was thrilled).
