tinkerbell and jeffrey stickers

so, even though it was a rainy weekend we kept ourselves pretty busy. grandpa jerry was in town and we had lots of options of things to do. last minute on friday i received free tickets to a special screening of the new Tinkerbell movie (which doesn't come out for another month and only gets released on dvd). we had to get there early for it and therefore had to hang out in the rain a little, but that wasn't too bad. the movie was cute and alex did pretty well. of course, she had to go to the potty 3 times during the movie (one of the downsides to potty training). and she thoroughly enjoyed the popcorn. she was still talking about the movie this morning, so i think that means it went well. grandpa jerry brought alex a couple of dora halloween books, so she enjoyed reading those a lot. also, alex has been doing a 7 day potty challenge! if she uses the potty 7 days in a row then she got a special surprise - she wanted a "firefighters truck"! so today is day 7, so as long as she uses the potty later today she gets to have her firetruck (which makes lots of annoying noises and is sure to drive everyone mad - especially the dog). then, yesterday santa came early and brought jeffrey stickers. and you guessed it, jeffrey stickers is a girl kitten! alex wrote a letter to santa asking for jeffrey stickers and so she was saved from the apl. she's a long hair/mix the paperwork says with a birthdate of 7.13.09. and we've discovered already that like most kittens jeffrey is a really good hider (we couldn't find her for quite some time last night), but was following us around all morning and alex has been very good with jeffrey. alex pets her real softly and gives her kisses - she just doesn't always remember to not talk so loud at jeffrey.
