who do you love?...sophie!

busy weekend for alex. first, saturday was aunt jess' baby shower - this was the "sweet" shower with loads of candy and cupcakes. alex said it was the best party ever! i wonder why. alex also got to enjoy playing with a whole load of vintage strawberry shortcake toys that bopey and jessica bought me at the second hand sale they went to that morning. then, on sunday, alex had a playdate with sophie and her mom, stephanie, to go see the legend of the guardians in 3d. this was alex's first 3d movie and i guess it went pretty well. she still gets antsy in her seat, but who doesn't? she even brought her snowy owl stuffed animal to the movie with her, since the movie is about owls. she also gave sophie and her mom a candy bag and alex made a card for sophie (according to alex it was for "i love you day").
