and the family grows...

first of all, Congratulations to Aunt Jessica and Uncle Tom on the birth of their beautiful baby girl Abigail Ryan Grimes - born on Saturday. everyone is happy and healthy. john and i got to see abbey and jessica for only a few moments - they don't let everyone in these days because of flu season so the nurse was nice enough to sneak john and i in real quick. alex is very excited to meet the new baby once she gets home.
at our home we finally found a new puppy - yay. we have been looking since we lost poor lonnie luke and the cleveland apl just got in this litter of boxer/mix puppies on friday and john surprised me by picking up alex and rushing down there to see if they were still there. because of a nice couple allowing alex to go first we got the pick of the litter. meet lonnie 2.0! aka skipper lonnie or lonnie boy. he's only a month old and so tiny, but i'm sure he will be growing large and fast.
