happy halloween!

alex had the most fun trick-or-treating. she actually came back with a lot of candy. john took her out in the wagon - which accounts for how many houses they were able to reach. it was rather cold so she was in her winter coat most of the time, but john wore his mad hatter's hat which helped people know that she was alice. after alex did her rounds she very much enjoyed handing out candy from our house. she was allowed to pick out one piece of candy to eat on halloween, but she wanted to know when she was going to get to pick out the rest of her candy!
