even though christmas was last weekend this was a super busy week again - and fun. first we had holiday tea at the ritz with the girls (thank you bopey) - look at the awesome gingerbread house that alex is standing in front of outside the tea room. and the chocolate decadence picture (thanks to sarah for the great photo) generally illustrates how the day went for alex. she said her favorite part of tea with the ladies was "going to tea with the girls" and she can't wait to do it again. then later in the week grandpa jerry and uncle john came into town and we had our christmas with them. and saturday was alex's 4th birthday! she had an alex in wonderland party and many people came dressed as a character (and some were dressed as characters that alex had assigned them that don't even exist in alice in wonderland - for example, the pink grand-mudder). it was a lot of fun and alex said her favorite part of her party was "eating all the cake and ice-cream"! of course it was. next step is taking cupcakes and goodie bags to all her friends at school for her birthday. end of holiday break :( and back to school (although to alex, back to school is just what she wanted - i've heard about how she wants to go to school and how she misses her friends every single day of holiday).
