friday was pajama day at daycare. you'd think it was the best day ever with how excited alex was. i had just bought her new footie jammies too and alex was saving them specifically to show her friends on pajama day. she had a great time at school and then went straight to great-grandma's birthday party still in her jammies. turns out that footie jammies make for a great acrobat outfit too - since apparantly alex was being flipped around all over by all the adults - she loved it of course. she also was dancing, playing piano and eating peas. on saturday, alex helped me make whoopie pies for my birthday - actually, she rolled all the whoopies in their toppings and also added sprinkles to her personal pie. sunday for my birthday alex was so hypered up all day in anticipation of eating this giant chocolate whoopie. she enjoyed eating hers - to say the least. oh, and alex finally got to use her snow shovel this weekend and helped john clean up the driveway.
