lots of snow this week and alex got to enjoy two snow days at home with daddy - they kept so busy that she was out cold asleep by 7ish both those nights. then this weekend we got to play a lot out in the backyard in the crazy snow ice layers of fun. we started a little sled tobaggon path in the yard and built an ice throne. lonnie has been out a lot more this week getting re-acclamated to us all, but lonnie is as big as alex now and a lot stronger so that makes for interesting times. and to top off the weekend, we all went thru alex's things that she's outgrown - toys and clothes and shoes and such. john did such a good job with alex's room that when she saw it she said "i didn't know my room could be so clean." wow, that's good stuff. and now as alex keeps growing we are going to redo her room and she has decided on a beach theme - she came up with that on her own, i had other suggestions. she wants it to be like a canada beach, but with a green submarine (of course).
