yay - outdoor soccer.

finally, the weather let up briefly so that alex could have a soccer game outdoors. and it was picture day. the pictures should turn out nice - alex certainly has the posing down. the game was full length this time - when it was moved indoors they had to shorten game times, but a full game for the preschool league consists of 6 minute quarters. alex got a few good kicks in. the fields were muddy and the parking lot was filled with muddy ponds, and it started pouring down rain not long after we got our game in, so we were lucky. alex cheered for the black birds whenever she wasn't playing and handed out snacks to everyone on her team - i'm not sure what her favorite part of soccer is: the cheering, snack time, or actually playing? whatever, as long as she's having fun :)
