swim lessons

alex started swim lessons this week - they're only a two week class. i think she's having fun but she does not like to put her whole face in the water, so now she's going to try to wear her goggles to swim lessons - hopefully that'll get her past that fear. but as long as she learns some safety and gets comfortable with the water then i'll be happier. she also got a slip n slide for home - she doesn't seem to have the idea of it yet. she's only willing to scootch down on her tooshie right now, she has no interest in sliding on her belly at this point and of course she had to wear her goggles for that too. oh, and alex moved into her big girl car seats - she's very excited about that. and she's been using her old car seat as a lounge chair indoors - i think i may need to make a slipcover for it.
