playdates and big wheels

alex is having fun on her summer break getting to choose all kinds of fun activities to fit in, including playdates and walks with lonnie and such. last week alex had a playdate over at her friend abby's house (soccer friend) and they had a great time - so much that they have another playdate scheduled for this week. alex has also been wanting to take lonnie on walks every day. she used to walk also and then john would end up having to carry her and walk lonnie - not easy. she has recently started riding her big wheel on these walks, and she's fast and strong on that bike now. i got to go on a couple of walks this weekend with the whole gang and i can tell you that alex is hard to keep up with.
