fall begins - one of alex's favorite seasons

it's fall, alex told me this is one of her favorite seasons (of course there's only 4) because it means halloween and also because next is winter. i was busy and pretty much gone all week and then sick all weekend so i missed out on everything that alex was up to for the most part. we had our company picnic and to kick of our event we had balloon artists and stilt walkers and jugglers and such, so i brought home alex a balloon hat - she slept with it that night. she had her second fall game of soccer this weekend and i guess she has quite the leg on her - she can kick the ball. she had two assists on goals and enjoyed being goalie only letting in one ball. so she's getting better and even said that she needs to be more aggressive and keep after the ball.
