it was big hair rock all weekend on the radio and this is alex rocking out to some big hair bands in the car - it was pretty funny to watch - i think it was white lion or something. it was a good weekend, saturday was uber hot so alex got to swim for a while and spend some time outside. which of course was good since it rained the rest of the weekend and we were practically stuck inside. she got to see her cousin, abbey, on sunday which she enjoyed thoroughly. and alex helped me craft a lot this weekend and do a practice run on some royal icing cookies - which did not come out so well but that's why you test. we finished making her halloween costume - yay. and we made a lot of stuff for her birthday goodie bags for her friends and some other decorations. we did go out to lunch on monday where alex got to play an old school wooden bowling game - and she was quite good at it, getting at least one strike!
