alex had her first soccer game of the season on saturday and it was cold. she was layered with sweatshirts and ear warmers and gloves. alex did pretty well, she got a few kicks in but still doesn't follow thru with the ball and is more concerned about giving us the thumbs up than what's happening in the game. she's enjoying it though so who cares. we did not get to the pool again this week because the heater is broken, and i'm already cold enough going to the pool so even colder is a no thank you from me. hopefully we can get back there next weekend and get her back in the water. after her game on saturday we went over to some friends of mine and hung out - alex had a nice day of chasing their two cats around and keeping us all updated on where they were hiding. and sunday we ran errands - alex even made up her own list of things she "needed" which of course were all things that were not at all needed and changed when she saw things she wanted more.
