just painting some nails and riding bikes

it was almost an uneventful weekend for alex, just painting her nails and getting stuff done and playing outside. she rode a couple of her bikes around and her car. we did go to the pool this weekend and she did fairly well. she tried swimming on her back a little (while i'm holding her of course) and she stuck her face into the water including her eyes and worked some more on blowing bubbles while paddling her arms and kicking her feet. she's still scared but getting a little more acquainted each week with the water. she got the new alvin and the chipmunks dvd so she watched that a few times. and of course did plenty of art, including a fabulous drawing for me with dandelions taped all over it - very creative.
