first backyard pool weekend

wow, it was hot and sunny this weekend. we started out with a late morning soccer game on saturday, and alex showed some improvement on getting in there after the ball. oh wait, before that, sarah and matthew had the baby! alex hasn't been able to meet him yet because they have hospital rules, but she spent that evening on her pretend phone with sarah telling her "you can do it!" cute, huh? ok, back to saturday, after the game we filled up the backyard inflatable pool along with lonnie's plastic pool and enjoyed some hot weather in the backyard. then on sunday we spent some more time in the backyard pool. we also did some baking and cooking and archery and art.
