camping with dad's weekend

john and alex went on their first full weekend camping trip together. and it was cold. they were lucky to avoid the rain for the most part though - i think it rained overnight but relatively clear during the day. cold though, alex is in the green jacket with the plaid blanket - i think they even slept wearing their winter hats. alex had a lot of fun playing with all the other kids. they went to see the largest covered bridge and alex got to shoot a b.b. gun. they fished as well, but with all the rain lately nobody had any luck with that. they had campfires and marshmallows and hot dogs and alex did some sketching by the fire. she enjoyed herself and already asked if they could go again next year.
