the red ryder bb

but don't worry, she has safety glasses on so she won't shoot her eye out! alex has a little red ryder bb gun now. it's a fun little toy for john and me too. she states all the rules for us, and she wears the safety equipment. even though it's a kids bb gun she's not strong enough to pump the gun herself or even pull the trigger too many times. we also had soccer this weekend, although it's getting close to the end of the season. we were in charge of snacks this week, which was fun for alex to hand out. she wasn't in goal but she played defense a lot and really enjoyed that. she worked on her homework and colored and practiced her speaking line from theater. and we watched the wizard of oz to get in the mood for halloween - since she's going to be dorothy.
