the ice-skating party

no post last week-i was far too sick to even think straight. alex and john have been sick too, but they've been fighting it better than i have. alex worked on making sure she stayed healthy enough to be able to go to sophie's birthday party yesterday. it was at the rocky river ice arena. john took her, and he ended helping her skate as well as some of her friends. she did a great job and really enjoyed herself. sophie's mom and aunt made tie-dye shirts for all the girls at the party that were really cute. alex was so excited to give sophie the presents she picked out for her - mermaid barbie and some barbie clothes. they had a great time.
