busy weekend, as usual. alex was able to make it to several taekwondo classes this week, which is great because she's up for her belt test soon and the practice is great. also, soccer season started. they didn't get a practice in because the fields have been too wet, but they did get a game in on saturday. she did well, she ran a lot and did quite well on defense. the papier mache penguin for her presentation is pretty much done - just drying a little - yay. alex and john also cleaned up alex's room! they gave a lot of hand me downs to abbey and carter - it's amazing how good her room looks right now. i'm proud of alex for giving away a lot of her toys and such. and on sunday the easter bunny came. he hid eggs at our house as well as at bopey and norm's house. alex got an easter basket at both houses as well - she's a lucky girl. we also celebrated john's birthday. alex helped me make the little cakelets for john's birthday including frosting them. and alex got more sugar all weekend then she ever gets - good luck daycare providers today!
