always a busy week; alex had soccer practice then taekwondo then drums then weekend taekwondo and soccer game. she did well in her game. she got a turn in goal, which she loves. she let one in but made a few nice saves as well. and was even goalie for an on goal penalty shot and didn't let that one score. saturday night we went to the birthday bash fundraiser for john's school so alex hung out with aunt sarah and uncle matt and carter. they went to skyzone with all the trampolines. alex had fun, she rolled her ankle on a trampoline, but got up and jumped some more. it does hurt her for certain things and she made me write a note to her gym teacher but she's fine. alex had a good time and always enjoys hanging out with her cousin, carter. sunday was mother's day; alex made me a few cards and a hershey kiss "rose" and gave me coupons for cleaning the house and doing the laundry (she was ready to cash in some coupons last night to do laundry!) we went out for a nice breakfast, i got to watch some doctor who, and then we went over to bopey's for dinner to celebrate all the moms. alex did tell me at one point this weekend, "it's not just about you, it's about all moms." haha.
