busy week as usual. alex almost has her first yellow belt tip. she's still drumming away with a few more weeks of drum lessons until summer break. and she still had a soccer game, even though it was raining the entire time and rather cold. she usually doesn't play much offense, but she got a turn in this time and scored two goals!! she also got her turn in goalie and defense where she always does well. on friday night, alex and i made terrariums. we made three terrariums: the biggest one has some ivy, violets and succulents with moss and zombies; the next one is skinny and holds a tardis and moss; and then alex made a short little mason jar terrarium with a ladybug and deer inside with moss. on sunday was carter's birthday party. alex had made him a banner that read "happy birthday little (mustache) man" and she made herself a mustache necklace to wear and wore her mustache on a dog shirt. she also wanted me to curl her hair. she's quite the mini-teenager already. it was a lovely party and the weather turned out sunny and warmer than we thought it would be.
