we had a busy week. john had meetings almost every night ending in prom on friday night. alex had her normal, full week with soccer practice, taekwondo, drums, and then make-up drum lesson on friday night. saturday morning was alex's soccer game and they played in the rain and cold. she got her turn in goalie. she did well. then she had a fun afternoon/late morning with bopey and abbey. they baked cookies and got pancakes and i think alex decided to dust as well. on sunday, john alex and i went glass blowing! thanks for sarah and matthew for the great gift certificate to go to the glass bubble project and make two pieces each. alex did great. i can't wait to see all our pieces once they're completely cooled and we get to take them home. the place had a pet rooster named morty. alex had a great time with morty. she pet him and hung out with him in between her turns while she chalked on the ground and she even held him. she said she can't wait to tell her friends all about it. i said which one, the rooster or the glass blowing? she said both.
