another full week

what an exhausting week - which is our new norm actually, but we're still getting used to it. with homework and activities and housework and cooking and all that stuff, we are busy and exhausted all the time :) alex had a really good week in school though - she got a couple of great behavior recognitions and a good merit award in gym class. homework is still hard to fit in along with reading every night on top of everything else. she does great with her math homework and always does extra, and she needs to work on her writing homework. it was a cold and wet soccer game this weekend and alex did well. she got a turn in goal this week and did alright - not sure if she enjoyed goalie as much as she used to; she's been great at being a forward lately. and she's doing well with taekwondo; she will probably get a tip this week (i think she needs 2 tips before she belt tests again.)
