alex and i got to spend our friday evening watching carter. we had a great time. alex cleaned the entire family and organized all carter's books. she helped (practically doing it herself) change diapers and get carter in his jammies. we got our share of little einsteins watched. both of them were up way past their bedtimes. on saturday, alex had a soccer game. we're almost done with this season and it's getting colder at the fields. we actually remembered to dress warm enough this time. alex spent half the game playing forward and the second half playing goalie. she had a lot of action being in goal - she did well, some got in, but she stopped quite a few. and alex has really kicked it up a notch with chores and such. she picked out some chores to do this weekend and helped quite a bit. she emptied the dishwasher, flipped laundry, checked on the pets food and water needs, helped strip the beddings, helped cook meatloaf and cleaned up her stuff. she was tired this morning after doing all that work this weekend.
