wow, another busy weekend. the week was busy too, of course. the weekend started off with alex having a playdate at emma's house. those two have so much fun together. alex went straight home from school to emma's and i picked her up later - of course, when i got there they had an hour long show/demonstration to put on for me and emma's mom, haha. saturday morning was alex's last soccer game of the season. she had a great season. right after soccer alex had her belt test - it was a make-up belt test since she will miss the scheduled one this upcoming weekend. she's so happy to finally be a green belt (her favorite color)! john had homecoming to go to saturday night, so he went to work while alex and i went to a movie. yes, after a full morning and lunch she still had the energy to want to go out to a movie. we saw Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day; it was cute. we enjoyed that and then we had some mall food court dinner and a little mall walking. sunday was our day to try to get as much done as possible. i made sugar scrubs all day - alex was a huge help with folding boxes and packaging the scrubs. i also got labels cut and such. we also carved the pumpkin yesterday - it's olaf! and of course there was cleaning and laundry to be done. it was a full weekend and we have halloween coming up - yay!
