this blog is a day late because i was out sick yesterday. alex missed soccer and taekwondo this weekend because she was fighting a cold and trying to be healthy. friday night though alex and i had eye exams. i hadn't been in 2 years i guess and alex has been complaining of headaches while reading. good news is her eyes are better than average! so the headaches are probably from not drinking enough water during the day (they are a little strict about how much water they get during the school day.) my eyes got a little worse so i got a new prescription. after our eye exams we went to the food court where alex, of course, got her pretzel wrapped hot dogs. i'm sure we'll go again when my glasses are ready (depending on what day that lands on.) on monday, alex returned to taekwondo and earned her 2nd tip on her orange belt. she is almost ready to take her next belt test to earn her green belt. she just needs to write her paper and study up on her terms.
