spring break is over and alex was back to school this week. monday was her last day of spring break - she went to the zoo with aunt jess and abbey. i guess the line was so long for the penguins that they could only see them from a distance! she had a great time and then she was ready to get back to school and show everyone her new haircut. she also started learning to use the sticks in taekwondo; which she was really excited to start and the last thing she needs to learn to get her third tip and be ready to belt test. she spent a lot of time yesterday going over her korean terminology and working on a school project about producers. luckily there was still time to go and enjoy some nice sunny weather. she rode her bike for a little while and dug in the backyard - she is eager for bug and frog season. and it's already time for soccer season to begin, so we ran out to buy new soccer cleats this weekend and pump up the soccer ball.
