it was another busy week for us - actually even busier. alex started soccer this week. they put her on a team that practices on tuesdays - which was the last thing we wanted because now she goes from school to theater class and then straight to soccer practice. then she still needs to eat dinner and there's homework and all that jazz. she says she wants to do it so she was good and did extra homework on monday and more this weekend to free up tuesday a little. then she had her first game of the season on saturday - they tied i guess. she's #1 on the hurricanes - it's 2nd and 3rd grade coed soccer - in fact there's only alex and one other girl on her team. she's also trying to prepare for her next belt test, so she's trying to finish learning all her stuff, study her korean terms and write her belt paper. also grandpa jerry and uncle john were in town this weekend for a visit. we went to hibachi for john's upcoming birthday. alex loves it there and ate more than i thought she could and she loved the mushrooms this time!
